Amended: Comprehensive Sex Ed. in Minnesota—too much to ask?

The statistics are glaring: 40% of 2010 pregnancies in Minnesota were unplanned. Less than half of sexually active students reported always using condoms during sexual activity in 2012. Syphilis rates in Minnesota women in 2015 were up 63% from 2014, according to the Minnesota Department of Health, recommending that health practitioners test for syphilis as frequently as gonorrhea and chlamydia, the most common sexually transmitted infections in women.
