A Resource for Leadership, Advocacy and Information
The Minnesota Women’s Consortium is unique — the only one of its kind in the country. As a statewide coalition with 132 member organizations, the Consortium serves as a resource to enhance equality and justice for women in Minnesota. It helps women stay in touch, up-to-date, and savvy.
One hundred fifty years after the first convention for women’s rights in Seneca Falls, New York, the Women’s Consortium fuels the momentum begun with the 1848 Declaration of Sentiments that called for women’s right to vote and more.
To maintain support for its strategic leadership and to commemorate the work begun at Seneca Falls, the Women’s Consortium has created the Seneca Falls Society. The Seneca Falls Society is for special friends who give generously to ensure that the Women’s Consortium’s vital services continue into the next century.
